The Best Way To Spread Christmas Cheer Is Singing Loud For All To Hear!

Christmas always starts the first week of December for me. However, this year was a little different. Instead of planning and orchestrating the usual 9-13 Holiday parties for my clients, I just had to attend all 9-13 of them. Which, if you are in marketing or sales, means you are still working. So by the time Christmas rolls around, I am beyond exhausted. But there is nothing like spending quality time with family to re-energize you and remind us of what Christmas is all about.

Josh and I spent Dec. 23rd with his family at Morton's steakhouse. The next night, Christmas Eve, is traditionally spent at the Lang household where about 30 people gather.
We all spent the night so we could wake up Christmas morning and open presents. Josh and I then quickly went to our new place to open up our gifts to one another. (At this time I would like to give mad props to my husband-to-be for being the best present giver ever. This man picked me out clothes that I LOVED. And if you know me, that is no small feat. I'd like to give him a virtual high five since he was already handsomely rewarded with a kiss). Then it was off to Papa Dick and Grandma Charlotte Allen's house to spend some time Christmas day with the grandparents.

The day after Christmas was spent at the Van Woudenberg house where we crammed in 16 people (including 7 nieces and nephews-Ashley, Katelyn, Luke, Kendall, Maryn, Brooklyn, and Austin), a ton of presents, a ginormous amount of food, a LONG game of Settlers of Catan, even more food, and a Lakers game. By the next day we were all spent, but couldn't be happier than to have been able to spend time with those we truly love and who truly make us happy and blessed.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Years...we are off to Mammoth to celebrate!
